The N.S.S Unit of our college in association with the Department of Archives & Arch logy Govt of Goa undertook an unique activity of cleaning heritage sites at Khandepar. The N.S.S Volunteers cleaned the Pandava caves & surrounding area on 28th October, 2016 followed by cleaning of caves of Ishwarbhat and Shree Saptkoleshwar temple of the 13th century in the village panchayat of Curti Khandepar on 1st November, 2016. This was a part of activity of annual N.S.S. special camp from 27th October, 2016 to 2nd November, 2016 at the premises of G.V.M’S Matoshri Indirabai Baburao Khandeparkar High School. Khandepar, Ponda- Goa. Around 30 N.S.S Volunteers accompanied by Devanand Velingkar, Yanita Palkar, Saprem Shirvoikar, Naresh Naik & Bhakti Kudnekar all N.S.S Programme Officers went from house to house to distribute bags & requested the villagers to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags. This activity was undertaken during the annual N.S.S Camp under the guidance of Dr S.V.SUKTHANKAR.
