The NSS Unit & the Dept of Commerce as a part of Consumer welfare cell activity jointly organised ‘A state level poster competition for college & Higher Secondary students on rights of Consumers’ 20th January, 2017 in the College premises from 10.00am to 12.40.noon followed by prize distribution ceremony.

In all 34 students from 17 Colleges & Higher Secondary schools from all over Goa participated in the competition. The Competition was inaugurated at the hands of dignitaries by lighting traditional lamp. The competition began sharp at 10.10 am & concluded at 12.40 pm.

The competition was judged by internationally acclaimed professional artist Shri Shivaji Mukund Shet, Shri Anuj Narvekar well known fine artist & Art teacher from Sharada English School & Saiesh Naik. The competition was judged on the criteria theme, message, design, creativity, & neatness.

The first place was won by Shital Verma & Priyanka Prajapati from M.E.S College Vasco, second place was won by Mayur Naik & Vikash Shirvoikar from Fr Agnel Higher Secondary School Pilar & third place was won by Prabhav Gaonkar & Laxunan Naik Govt Higher Secondary School Khandola. The winners were given cash prizes & certificates at the hands of dignitaries. All other participants were given participation certificates. All the participants were given refreshment in the morning & working lunch after the competition.
