Science day was celebrated on 28th February 2017 in the college. Students from neighbouring schools were invited .The guests for the day were Dr. Rahul Mohan, Scientist E, NCAOR, Vasco and Dr. Alexender Matul, Shirshow Institute of Oceanology, Russia. Tribute was paid to Sir C.  V. Raman by garlanding his photo. The Chief Guest delivered a talk on “Antarctica” and aroused the interest of students for knowing more about this continent. The school students then visited the science departments of the college where they were shown different apparatus and instruments used. Science based models, charts, Posters and demonstrative reactions were exhibited for the school students. Post lunch session was screening of science fiction movie “You see me too” for the students. Around ninety students participated in this science day fiesta.
