The final year Commerce students are participating in a ‘Visit to SEBI” program, they will be participating in a seminar by Securities and Exchange Board of India at their office at 6th floor, EDC House, Panaji, Goa.on 21st Febuary, 2017.
This program intends to create an awareness among Commerce students about the following things:
- Understanding investment basics (power of compounding, risk & return, investment principles)
- Awareness about the Securities market and various Regulatory bodies
- Awareness about investments in shares/securities/debt/mutual funds/gold etc
- Awareness about the Collective Investment Schemes/Chain marketing schemes/Ponzi schemes etc
The programme is coordinated by Dr S.V.Sukthankar Associate Professor & Head Dept of Commerce. 50 students of final year commerce will participate in the seminar. The students will be accompanied by Ranjana Sawaikar Asst Prof In commerce.
